Across the river, Little Rock is the home to the 18,000 seat Alltel Arena and the Dickey Stephens Baseball park, and the AAA Arkansas Travelers Baseball Team.

Although Central Arkansas is known for its searing summer heat and 100 percent humidity - the kind Southern novels are famous for - the area experiences a full range of Seasons, from sultry summer nights to snowy winter mornings.  

The citizens of Central Arkansas have pushed hard for better arts outlets, especially during the last few decades - attend the ballet, hear a symphony, see a show - the variety is wide!
